When we approach story telling at each new season, it has always been our foundation as designers to find what people are looking for as a moment of enjoyment and what pulls them in on an emotional level. For our texture development, we take into account not just the visual aesthetics of a texture, but how it feels to the touch. Through a combination of digital, hand made, physical materials and paint techniques we create a system of textures for the season that remind riders of the beauty they find in nature. All inspired by our natural environment, we create textures that have a spread of energetic to calm depending on what the purpose of the product is. We want the product to inspire, and also feel like it is a part of the environment it was created from. These textures are about restoring ones self and being inspired by the restoration we so often find when we are lost in our favorite spaces.
